@Vinebeard In some woodland near where I live in NE Hampshire. They were at the base of a mature Oak tree.

@Marksvegplot Where did you find them?

I found some Stinkhorn (Phallus impudicus) "eggs", and I brought them home to study. These things are both gross and fascinating at the same time!

Not ideal weather for foraging this weekend, but the fungi will have been enjoying the heavy rain, methinks! #UKFungusDay

Daedalea quercina - Oak Mazegill.

Another harvest of delicious wild mushrooms! There are Hedgehogs (Hydnum repandum), Chanterelles (Cantharellus cibarius) and a lone Orange Oak Bolete (Leccinum aurantiacum).

Amanita muscaria - Fly Agaric - probably the most recognisable mushroom of all!

Leccinums - probably L.scabrum, Brown Birch Bolete.

Caloboletus radicans - Rooting Bolete.

A trio of Amanitas. A.muscaria (Fly Agaric), A.rubescens (The Blusher), and A.citrina (False Deathcap).

@UrvashiRoe @MirandaBakes They look to me like Ceps / Porcini / Penny Buns - a choice edible species - though rather "mature" specimens.

Early Ceps / Porcini / Penny Buns. Seems like a good year for them, so hoping for bigger harvests in the next few weeks.

Well, picking three times a week, and just got another good crop of Passandra cucumbers, but sadly I should have picked yesterday as most of these are slightly bigger than I like. #cucumbers
