Best ballad that should’ve been #1? This morning I named two of Reba's that should have been #1. What are some of yours? Reba or otherwise. In fact, I'll give you another one by @Reba I thought should have been #1. "She Thinks His Name is John". Only reached #15. My opinion here is that the song delt with a subject uncomfortable for a LOT of people. In this case it was NOT for a lack of support from radio. MCA decided to release it as a single after radio stations like KKBQ in Houston started playing it in heavy rotation.
