@bernkarstel I started automata but never finished it, should I beat replicant first?
English

@Kekor01 @bernkarstel @steelballron Even if you feel this way, thats still more of a reason to play Replicant first. The original game is older than Automata so you don't want to play a newer game and then have to regress to older game design on the next one.
English

@bernkarstel @steelballron It does have the better story in execution. Replicant has its moments, but is dragged down by the extremely repetitive nature of the game. Having to replay the huge chunks of the game several times for crumbs of story is bad. Automata does it way better

@ridthysak @NightSkyKing_ Missing towns and sidequests in between the constant battles.
English

@MaverickHuntrX @NightSkyKing_ There's also nothing to do besides move forward and fight.
English

X and XIII are both linear in the same way XV and Rebirth are Open World, but their structure of their worlds, pacing, etc are entirely fundamentally different.
All biases aside, They're favored by different people because their linear structures are different.

need to actually play FFXIII for myself one day because everyone shits on it for being linear, but we also live in a day and age where most people acknowledge that FFX is good which is also a very linear game.
English

@ridthysak @NightSkyKing_ It's linear in more ways than the level design, the game won't let you freely use your party how you want for 30 hours. It should not have taken til Gran Pulse before it allows you pick your active team and leader, this was also why it had the BS Leader KO'd=Game Over mess.
English

@NightSkyKing_ FFXIII's biggest problem isn't even its linearity....
English

@CovertStubbz @SpIinterCaI Not the PS One games, only RE1 Remake, RE0 and RE Code Veronica does.
English

@SpIinterCaI So quick question, do they have trophies like some other older games?
English

@YoRHa2Pee That's why the last game to use them came out 20 years ago
English

@ThatHorroFan He is, he's the only one that faced off against Wesker several times in the series, and I'm sure if Wesker returned Chris and/or Jill will be there too.
English

@redfieldyaoi Those modern controls allow you to move in a way that was impossible before, makes dodging zombie grabs way easier.
English

@karatebugmanrx @deadbyloba Lol, what is he talking about then? Even if he did have it at release on PS3/360 there is no way he was the one who paid for it.
English

@deadbyloba sorry, 7
you were 7 years old
there was no fucking way you had it on release
English

@deadbyloba I paid for it at full price on PS3 and bought it again at full price on PS4. Loved it.
English

@CornellGunter_ When Jeff Hardy comes out I want to be able to Swanton Bomb onto a table, enough of this splash dive. Top rope dives and finishers onto a table should be what you have assigned.
English

@elreportedew I kinda hated how they made alt costumes into 'new characters' Just let me play as Chris and pick his costume, not have his load out tied to his outfit.. that's lazy..
Then they did it again in RE6, but it was even worse because Ada's unique flips where tied to her crossbow.
English

@WolfgangHG @elreportedew RE4 original didn't even add Luis for some stupid reason.
English

@SkyKniight Still could have used Towns and side quests in between.
English

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, those “hallways” are one of the reasons I actually really like the game. It’s nice and simple, and it feels really refreshing to go back to especially after finishing a big 200 hour open world rpg

@yunasiita My criticisms are always my own about the game. For most of the game it just felt like a tutorial until you reach Gran Pulse, you can't fully customize the party or control active members and party leader for a whole 25-30 hours but story isn't bad and the OST is great.
English

@GamerNate20 @RS00090 @Fairytaleinf @DripGodRagna They own it, and co developed it. Platinum Games worked on the combat aspect. They didn't do any of the writing or storytelling. All of these games have different development teams either way and Nier/Drakengard series has been a part of Square Enix for years.

@kristenarchervo @NightSkyKing_ No it's not, the first two Dissidia games have been stuck on PSP.
English

@NightSkyKing_ The first Dissidia is on PC so I don't know see why they even need to think about porting this one. Just do the thing. 🤷🏻♀️
