I did some volunteering for a Veteran not for profit today and wanted to let all my followers who are Veterans know I don't think you're suckers and losers like Donald Trump does and I don't think your benefits should be cut like Donald Trump does and I appreciate your sacrifice and admire your service for our country.

The ludicrous case @DAGToddBlanche brought against Comey is an assault on the First Amendment. DOJ will lose. I think we should “throw out trump, get rid of trump, refuse service to trump.” What I just said is absolutely protected by the Constitution. No different than 86 47.

At least one Republican Senator doesn’t like the Comey indictment — ⁦@SenThomTillis⁩
“If it really is a picture that says ‘86 47’ — I’ve used ‘86’ a lot of times,” Tillis said. “I’ve never said it with the intent of killing somebody.” washingtonpost.com/politics/2026/…

When I worked at USDA and we mildly suggested that maybe children shouldn’t drink energy drinks in the nutrition guidelines the Monster Energy lobbyists came in with a presentation on how Monster wasn’t just fine for kids, it was actually beneficial.

NEW: The new food pyramid was built by corporate interests. General Mills, Danone, the beef industry, and more had financial ties to the scientists writing the new dietary guidelines. RFK said he couldn't be bought, then he let Big Food write the nutrition guidelines.

60 days. That is how long American forces have been at war with Iran without authorization from the United States Congress. Today, the clock written into the 1973 War Powers Resolution runs out. Tomorrow, this war becomes flatly illegal. The Constitution is not subtle on this point. Article I, Section 8 gives Congress, and only Congress, the power to declare war. The Founders put that pen in our hands on purpose. They had just fought a revolution against a king who decided on his own when his subjects would bleed. They were not about to hand that power to one man in Washington. President Trump has done exactly what the Founders feared. He launched a major military campaign with no authorization for use of military force and no honest case made to the American people. We will fight this on every front. Legislatively, I will keep voting for every War Powers Resolution that comes to the floor and pressing Republican colleagues who once claimed to care about executive overreach. In the courts, members of Congress have standing to sue when the executive nullifies our constitutional role, and that option must be on the table the moment this deadline passes. This is not about whether Iran is a bad actor. This is about whether one man gets to start a war on his own. The answer, in America, has always been no. nytimes.com/2026/04/22/us/…

Actually, Iran did sign a nonnuclear deal in 2015 under the leadership of President Obama. You blew it up. Then plunged America into another reckless and costly war of choice in the Middle East.

@RepJeffries Iran never took that deal seriously. That's a proven fact. Obama sent IRGC billions of dollars and they used it to build enrichment facilities under the mountains and to arm their proxies. That deal was the most un-American act any US president could do!

The moratorium of nuclear enrichment would have sunset allowing Iran to enrich uranium again and have the financial means to build as many ballistic missiles as they could. It also had no requirement to stop funding terrorism throughout the world. Don't be a useful idiot of the IRGC.

Pete Hegseth on Iran: The biggest challenge, the biggest adversary we face at this point are the reckless, feckless, and defeatist words of Congressional Democrats and some Republicans. Two months in, I remind you, two months into a conflict. Lest I remind you, my generation understands how long we were in Iraq, how long we were in Afghanistan, how long we were in Vietnam. Two months into an existential fight for the safety of the American people: Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb. We are proud of this undertaking.
