Nick Shirley says Gavin Newsom’s attacks on him for exposing fraud in California BACKFIRED badly. “If I was the governor I would be happy that the fraud was exposed.” Shirley points out Newsom isn’t trying to fix the problem — he’s trying to intimidate others into SILENCE. SHIRLEY: “I think they’re trying to intimidate other people from doing what I did because they know the fraud so deep.” “Unfortunately for them, it backfired very bad.” “I’ve given them the opportunity and in another post I said, let’s work together. If you think there’s fraud, let’s go do it.” “I mean, if I was a governor, I would be happy to the fraud is exposed and figuring out how to crack down on this fraud.” “Instead he attacked the journalists who attempt expose the fraud.”

CALIFORNIA ELECTIONS FRAUD CASH FOR BALLOTS PART I: Homeless Bribed with Cash & Drugs In Exchange For Registering To Vote & Signing Election Petitions Caught On Tape Undercover On Skid Row In California. “You can just put Pinocchio Lane.” California NGOs Encourage Fake Addresses To Homeless People To Sign Petitions & Register Voters, A State & Federal Felony. Footage Shows 28 Instances Of Cash Changing Hands For Ballot Signatures & Voter Registration Forms. Many of the petitioners had no understanding of the petitions’ purpose they were advertising. Circulators also instructed individuals to use fake addresses. “Oh, you can just fake an address.” Weingart Center, which received hundreds of millions in public funding, is on tape directing people to where the fraudulent petitioners are located, and directing homeless individuals to petitioners & coaching plausible deniability. “See they say ignorance is no excuse for the law. But a lot of times, I have to say ‘I didn’t know, I had no idea.’” We encountered 28 instances of petitioners offering cash, cigarettes, and marijuana for signatures on petitions. Weingart employees advised: “See they say ignorance is no excuse for the law. But a lot of times, I have to say ‘I didn’t know, I had no idea.’” All happening outside taxpayer-funded housing organizations. Weingart CEO earned $432,000 before resigning from the Los Angeles County Affordable Housing Solutions Agency. James O’Keefe and the OMG Team went undercover on Skid Row, posing as homeless individuals. On hidden cameras, petitioners admitted they are paid $7–$10 per signature, sometimes earning $1,000 or more per day, collecting signatures from individuals with minimal knowledge of what they were signing. “$7 a signature, $5 a signature, $10 a signature.” “We gon’ give you $2.” Populus Inc., a political consulting firm, was circulating petitions funded by @Uber, @Delta, @United, and the American Hotel & Lodging Association (@AHLA). On camera, one petitioner said, “We have one that taxes billionaires 5%. One-time tax. 5% and that’s gonna go towards healthcare.” Other petitions sought to overturn LA’s $30 minimum wage for hotel and airline workers. Paying per signature and encouraging fake addresses violates federal and state election law and is proof of fraud happening in California. Weingart employees were caught directing the homeless to the location of the petitioners and coaching them on plausible deniability. Intake coordinator Jason Warren told an undercover journalist exactly where and when to find them: “Most time they be right across the street, under that tree… Monday through Friday.” In 2016, nine individuals were arrested on Skid Row for exchanging cash and cigarettes for signatures; in 2019 they were charged on 14 counts under the exact same California Elections Code section. Yet when confronted, nearby LAPD officers dismissed the activity as “a civil lawsuit.” “Paying per signature violates state election law and is evidence of election fraud in California,” the investigation concludes. On Skid Row, we captured conduct on tape that violates Federal Law 52 U.S. Code §10307 and state law California Election Code §18603. Now I don't want to spend all that time to configure a raspberryPi nor an old Macbook for openclaw. #PerplexityComputer is cool, but at $200/mo it's still too expensive for me. Anthropic & OpenAI should have same thing at much lower price! 😉

I wrote about 'The Traveling Salesman Problem' on this mysteriously engaging 'Theoria' platform: theoria.in/to/traveling-s… Life is a juggling act of priorities. Sometimes we need to prune activities and just chill in order to be efficient.

Worth repeating the wisdom about art, AI, meaning, consciousness, & human artists: "The scarcity that gave art its worth...was the human who made it. We don’t consume art. We consume the person behind it. The struggle. The intention. The specific human consciousness that decided this [art] should exist. AI can replicate the output. It cannot replicate the origin. If an artist uses AI as a tool but still has something they were trying to express, the work retains its value. The human intention is the product. The image is just how it arrives. Remove the person and the beauty becomes noise. It was never the pixels. It was always the person. AI isn’t going to replace human artists. It’s going to force the entire market to pay for something that was always there: Presence. Intention. Proof that a human consciousness cared enough to make this [art]. Meaning becomes the only scarcity worth paying for. And meaning can’t be automated. Because meaning requires a consciousness. The artists who survive won’t be the most technically gifted. They’ll be the most undeniably human."

I agree with @elonmusk that seeking the truth should be an imperative of AI, and that it should be maximally curious. But I'd like to add that AI should naturally gravitate to seek the truth even if we don't intentionally "teach" it to be a truth-seeker. If it does that then we know we built it right, because truth-seeking is an attractor.

Let ICE do their work on catching illegals who are rapists and murderers. ICE should focus on deporting criminal illegals who are doing bad things. A majority of illegal immigrants are peaceful good people who only want to earn a living. Please let the good ones stay.
Gerry Callahan@GerryCallahan

This is perfect. ICE agent: “If you cared, you would care about the child who got raped and the person who got murdered by the guy we’re looking for. “ Awful, ugly white lady: “I don’t care.” The entire insane national debate encapsulated in 20 sec.

Tax on unrealized gains is not very smart. It amazes me how a government could do this.
Investing visuals@InvestingVisual

The Dutch government is destroying long term compounding by introducing a 36% tax on unrealized gains. As a Dutch citizen and long term investor, I’m at a loss for words about the lack of vision behind this new tax. I normally don’t post anything politically related, but what our government is planning to do is disastrous for long term investors. This is the sad truth. Most people here start investing to protect themselves against inflation and ever rising pension ages. They’re trying to put hard earned money to work, hoping they can retire before the age of 71. And they had a real shot at that before this bill. If you started at 25 with €10,000 and contributed €1,000 every month, you could compound to €3,320,000 over 40 years. If you lived prudently, you could retire early and live off it for the rest of your life. With the new capital tax? After 40 years of compounding, you’d end up at €1,885,000. That’s a €1,435,000 difference. This tax denies generations the chance of early retirement, punishes those who take risks, and introduces severe liquidity issues for people who have been compounding successfully for years. And to what end? To fill a €2.4 billion tax hole. I’m beyond words. If you’re Dutch like me, please share this visual with fellow investors to increase awareness. Hopefully we can make our politicians understand the severity of this tax, and the breadth and depth of its destructive implications. ~ Jan

"America, wake up—and don't end up like England!"
Jan Jekielek@JanJekielek

These are the insane realities a British-Pakistani man faced for converting from Islam to Christianity in the UK: Nissar Hussain and his family were excommunicated and branded "kafir," "infidel," "unbeliever," and "Jew dogs." Men confronted him in the street, spat on him, and cursed him—in front of his young children. One night he woke up at 3am to see "seven foot flames shooting up" from his car. His car was rammed and vandalized so often that insurance companies wrote him off as a walking liability and refused to insure him. It was as if "all hell broke loose…I was dead and buried," he told me at the recent @IRFSummit. Young men hurled bricks and other missiles at his house at night repeatedly. In 2015, he was ambushed outside his home, suffering a fractured kneecap and a broken hand. He was hospitalized for 11 days and developed PTSD. It was "acts of terrorism on a daily basis," he says. After years of threats and attacks, he and his family were relocated with a large armed police escort. He has been living in hiding under police protection for almost a decade. Authorities, he says, have been paralyzed by fear. "The police, they are terrified of Muslim backlash or some kind of Islamic riot, because they are terrified of being labeled as Islamophobic," he says. Now he worries that similar trends are emerging on this side of the Atlantic. "America, wake up—and don't end up like England," he says. "Never, ever allow Sharia to enter mainstream politics like it has in the UK."
