A foot of snow around Amarillo. Snow possible here Sunday. Not a foot.

For weather geeks--look at the "hook" echo indicating a tight circulation in E IA within the broader trough.

4" in Somonauk. 1.4" Kankakee. Trace at O'Hare.

Latest snowfall totals.

1.5" in parts of Grundy county.

Swath of heavier snow setting up southwest of Chicago. Roads likely to be slippery in this area.

Drizzle. Spotty freezing drizzle. Some fog. That's now. As for much snow later? Looking like 1" will be hard to reach.

Sleet now reported in Prairie du Chien, WI in the warm air advection precip of our inbound "storm."

Highs cracked the 40 mark over much of Chicagoland yet again today.

41 at ORD. First day in the 40s since December 27!

36 already at O'Hare and 37 at Midway. I'm liking our forecast of 40s today that we've been advertising all week. Enjoy!
