Confirmation received that dna shows that the Marske Stonechat dna shows a "100% match to Siberian Stonechat S. maurus, and excludes rubicola and stejnegeri, which are both genetically v different".

@bobhogrunner @teesbirds1 @teeswildlife @nybirdnews @Natures_Voice A 2 mile walk in Broxa Forest yesterday in 27 degrees centigrade sunshine produced only a few Large Skippers and Golden Ringed Dragonflies. It should have been teeming with up to 10 species of Butterfly. Something has gone wrong.
