Britain uses ~30% less energy & 25% less electricity than in 2000 – despite population increase. The Americans use the same amount of energy as then & 15% per cent more electricity. That’s a big part of the reason why they still have economic growth and we do not. #CostOfNetZero

🤔 So the “new” CB radios run on solar? Plus I understand that there are these objects called cell phones that can be used as a communication device in the event of an emergency. Just pause you game and switch to the numbers pad thingy 🤳🏻📲 that you never use. 😑

@WilliamShatner Because in a situation where an area loses power you can still communicate. The CB or Ham radio you can use batteries and charge with solar. Ham radio operators in most counties in the US assist with emergency communications as volunteers.
