Less enjoyable to paint were the 1/600 Oddzial Osmy, F8 Crusaders.  They're marked for VF-162, USS Oriskany, 1965-67.

0330.Stars are Out! 1st time on this trip. Raced to the bridge & onto the deck to see the orange moon setting & the Southern Cross. Also the MilkyWay was putting on a show & some Russian rocket launching. No light pollution! Do I stay up to see the nav aids for Cape Horn?

Another nice day for rattle cans and walking the dogs. Minis are metal, 1/285th scale, Raiden minis IIRC. Ki-44s, 47th Sentai. A6M2s, No. 2 Chutai. F6Fs, VF-2 USS Hornet. FM-2s, VC-94 USS Shamrock Bay.

@DrTraceyK It's not all sunshine and daffodils, I did leave out the bit about Hank revisiting breakfast. It was spectacular. The rug did dry though.

Proof of life: polar plunge. Prepare to be scandalized; however I had perfect form, even if not formed perfectly. Felt like an absolute boss dropping my robe in a room where people were doing shots, dancing, & waiting their turn. I was second in line. Felt I needed to be brave.
