LIMPOPO – Police in Hlanganani, under the Mopani District, have launched a search operation for a missing woman, 20-year-old Murwa Mohawu. Mohawu was reported missing in the early hours of Wednesday, 15 April 2026, at approximately 03:00. She is originally from Hweleshaneng village in Lebowakgomo, along the R37 road. At the time of her disappearance, she was visiting a traditional healer in Olifantshoek village, Hlanganani. According to reports, Mohawu went to sleep at around 03:00. However, at approximately 05:00, it was discovered that she was no longer at the premises. Police have indicated that the missing woman is allegedly mentally unstable. She was last seen wearing a red skirt, a red T-shirt, and black shoes. She is described as slightly built with a light complexion. Authorities are appealing to anyone with information that could assist in locating her to contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Sathekge, on 082 468 8673, or call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111. Information can also be shared via the MySAPSApp.
