The aspects he claims to oppose in Judaism and the Jewish people are also present in Zionism.
In Judaism, we are a nation that asserts its sovereignty.
We can discuss the mechanisms, but the fundamental truth is that this assertion is part of the system and the culture itself.
So there’s no need to hide behind the term “Zionism.” Just say “the Jewish people” or “Judaism.” That would be a less spineless and more respectful position.
