The balancing of Magic Items in D&D is… creative to say the least Most of it makes sense, but then we get: Periapt of proof against poison: poison + poisoned immunity, NO attunement → rare Ring of poison resistance: only resistance to poison, attunement → also rare Wtf

@RPGBOTDOTNET Agreed, this is insane, on monks in particular. Bonus action flurry of blows for 2 grapple attempts Action put a set of chains. Then the druid can cast heat metal and it’s a death sentence. Especially since once chained, you can keep putting on more chains as an action…

Babe, wake up. New #DnD meta just dropped. It turns out it's all about chains and ropes now. Binding a creature with chain/rope takes a single Utilize action, target only needs to be Grappled, and there's no size restriction or opposed check or anything of the sort.

@_ChrisLeeBear @SaintMelancholy You can cast spells as a behemoth yes. They count as clubs only for the purpose of damage and shillelagh, otherwise they function as regular hands, though slightly larger

My dm @SaintMelancholy and myself have been gushing over Steinhardt’s and it's finally time to create a Druid. Now we have a question, as behemoth can you cast Shillelagh on your "clubs" and at level 6 with extra attack can you use cantrips as behemoth. Thank you @MonkeyDM4

A friend pointed out something so obvious re: the new Wild Shape that I can't believe I hadn't thought of it before: It's a lot easier to program into a VTT than 5e's Wild Shape. Wonder how many design decisions are being made about 6e with that in mind or the explicit goal.

Flight is a 3rd level spell, the broom of flying gives it to you an unlimited amount and is uncommon item. Fireball is a 3rd level spell, necklace of fireball gives you max 9 casts of it and is rare. The broom should be at least rare, if not very rare.

Sometimes I spend more time worrying about content I need to create, than time it actually takes me to create the content. Delay in actions is a killer.

As a GM: Lift your players into the spotlight, and then vanish

To add to this. This is why I really like Reddit. They don’t use gloves, it keeps you sharp with your content. There are of course bad takes on there as well, but on average.

As a TTRPG creator the quickest way to make it is Reddit. I made my first $1000 from there. That being said, Reddit will also tear you and your content to shreds, and they’re not always wrong. If you learn though, they will become fierce defenders.

As someone who feels like crap after doom-scrolling on their phone I find that switching my phone to greyscale is a great way to make it less enticing. Apps are a lot more boring without color.
