Premier Lesufi boasts about MECs signing performance agreements — but refuses to make them public! 😡 What is he hiding? The DA suspects he is protecting incompetent cadres and coalition partners at the expense of Gauteng residents who continue to suffer failing services. Performance agreements must be published on the provincial website with clear targets, timelines and regular progress updates — as required by the Gauteng Executive Accountability Framework. Solly Msimanga MPL: “We cannot have departments failing to deliver basic services while MECs face no consequences. Transparency is non-negotiable.” The DA is writing to the Speaker, Chair of Chairs and the Gauteng Ethics Advisory Council demanding immediate publication of these agreements. A DA-led Gauteng would ensure full transparency, ethical leadership and real accountability so that every MEC delivers measurable results for the people.
