FNCS has already started, and Middle East players are still experiencing high ping following the server relocation to India.
This is directly affecting performance during official matches at a crucial time. Competitive integrity is being impacted, and the issue remains unresolved.
We strongly support the community’s request to temporarily relocate the servers to Riyadh or Bahrain until conditions improve.
We need urgent action.

@Moskfv @FortniteStatus @FNCompetitive How? How are they going to use a server that’s not available yet? How are they going to do it without their own network? How are they going to do it if they don’t make avail of outposts to place game servers in locations where a full AWS Region doesn't yet exist?

Fortnite players across the Middle East and MENA region have been experiencing ongoing server issues for over 5 days without any effective resolution. Most players are currently facing 140+ ping due to being routed to distant servers such as India — a location that does not align geographically or regionally with the area, nor reflect the size of its player base.
This creates a clearly unfair competitive environment, especially in a game where performance depends heavily on low latency and stable connections. With major tournaments like FNCS, as well as regional events such as the Saudi eSports League offering prize pools of up to 320,000 SAR, competing under these conditions places players at a significant disadvantage and directly impacts results.
In contrast, Riot Games addressed this issue in VALORANT by deploying dedicated servers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, resulting in a major reduction in ping and a clear improvement in performance and overall gameplay experience across the region.
Despite the availability of infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and continued expansion in other regions, Middle East players continue to face the same issues without meaningful improvement. Routing an entire region to distant servers under these conditions is unjustified.
We urge Epic Games to follow this proven approach by introducing dedicated servers in Riyadh. This would significantly reduce latency, ensure competitive fairness, and improve the experience for all players across the region.

@Moskfv @FortniteStatus @FNCompetitive Nobody cares about Valorant.
Epic is not Riot Games. They use AWS outposts and then there’s Riot direct too.
Epic doesn’t have any of those; not to mention the fact that they had their networking partner agreement terminated in 2022.
Epic can’t use any Riyadh servers just yet.
English

@Moskfv @FortniteStatus @FNCompetitive They can’t. You literally said it’s coming soon. Is it here?
How will they add something that’s not here??? Smh.

.@FortniteStatus @Fortnite We appreciate your continued support for the Middle East server.
However, players have been experiencing high ping due to current regional conditions especially after the server relocation to India.
This is significantly impacting performance at a crucial time, with FNCS qualifiers for the Summit LAN approaching ( during next month April 2026 )
We support the community’s request and suggestion to temporarily relocate the server to Riyadh, if possible, until regional conditions improve.
Thank you for your ongoing support. We hope for a quick solution before FNCS begins in less than 10 days.

@JeremieBellpois @FortniteStatus @FNCompetitive riyadh servers is coming soon in aws but fortnite could add servers in riyadh same as valorant did
English

@Moskfv @FortniteStatus @FNCompetitive Are people dumb? Riyadh servers aren’t available just yet. The only remaining unused Asian server was Mumbai. It’s either that or Japan/Singapore/South Korea.

. @FortniteME @FortniteStatus, As Fortnite players from Egypt and the broader MENA region, we face consistently high latency (often 140+ ping) when routed to servers in India — a location that is geographically and regionally separate from the Middle East.Riot Games successfully did exactly this for VALORANT by establishing dedicated servers in Riyadh. After that, players in Egypt now enjoy around 30 ping, and most Gulf countries — even players from India and Bahrain — are experiencing significantly lower ping than before. We respectfully urge Epic Games to follow the same successful example by adding dedicated servers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This would deliver low-latency gameplay, improve competitive fairness, and greatly enhance the experience for thousands of players across Egypt, the Gulf, and the entire Middle East.Thank you for your attention and continued investment in the global community!
