Mngani, you might be right. If tenants leave, landlord loses rent. That’s business. But, question: Who fills that room after June 30? If SA youth can’t afford R1500, room stays empty. Landlord loses, SA youth still has no job, house still breaks. Mngani, did SA win? Or we all lost?

look around SA today and ask yourself: What are politicians offering us in 2026? Not jobs. Not water. Not light. Not houses. And what are they shouting on those loudspeakers? “Foreigners! Foreigners! Foreigners!” When municipality can’t collect rubbish for 6 months → Shout “Foreigner!” When Eskom switches off light → Shout “Foreigner!” When factory closes and 2000 SA youth lose jobs → Shout “Foreigner!” When R500 billion is stolen through tenders → Shout “Foreigner!” why? Because “foreigner” doesn’t vote. “Foreigner” can’t fight back in parliament. “Foreigner” is easy target. But, shouting “foreigner” never fixed a single pothole. Never hired one unemployed graduate. Never built one clinic. @Mzanziawake

🚨 SHOCKING: "DON'T BLAME FOREIGNERS... BLAME US?" President Cyril Ramaphosa says foreign nationals should not be blamed for crime and unemployment, arguing that the real problems are inequality and slow economic growth. If that's the case, then isn't he indirectly admitting that government policies and years of poor economic performance are the real reasons South Africans are struggling to find work? For years the ANC has been in charge of the economy, job creation and border management. If unemployment is caused by slow growth and inequality, then surely accountability starts with those who have been governing. Do you agree with the President, or do you think both illegal immigration and government failures have contributed to the unemployment crisis? Let's discuss. 🇿🇦

🚨 MY MALAWIAN TAILOR IS A LEGEND ANGFUN NGASHO! 🧵✂️ I love my Malawian tailor. I just hope he's properly documented because I honestly don't know where I'd find another one with the same level of skill. I've gone around my city and, personally, I can hardly remember seeing a South African tailor running a tailoring shop. This isn't about nationality, it's about a trade that seems to have fewer locals entering it while many skilled migrants have built businesses around it. Maybe this is an opportunity for more South Africans to learn tailoring, open businesses and revive the profession. Out of curiosity... how many South African tailors do you know in your area? 🤔🧵

@DrOmbongi Good opinion Dr.but unfortunately nothing about the rest of Africa and its history is taught in SA basic education ,that and that only breeds a certain unfriendly feeling towards other nationalities and no level of explanation will change that

The xenophobic attacks in South Africa have revealed the truth which blacks in that country will be hestitant to appreciate. South Africa's problem is not the Kenyan, Nigerian, Zimbabwean, or Mozambican migrant. Their absence will not create jobs. The challenge is structural, inequality, unemployment, and the unfinished economic legacy of apartheid. Remember the Frontline States that sheltered your freedom fighters. History demands gratitude, not xenophobia. @AyubAbdikadir @CyrilRamaphosa @SuluhuSamia

Let's assist u An undocumented migrant is not "illegal" because they are African. They are in breach of a country's immigration laws, just as a citizen may be in breach of tax laws, labour laws or criminal laws. The legal status attaches to the conduct, not the person's humanity.
Thuthukile Zuma@Thuthu_Zuma

No African is illegal in Africa. If you believe that an African can be illegal in Africa then you are not a revolutionary. We must reject the notion of an illegal foreigner. Africans can be undocumented but they cannot be illegal.

@Thubelihle12001 Its Zuma s administration in 2010 that started the permit dispensation ? If Zuma was wrong then surely no need to complain about undocumented migrants

Meet Thuthukile Zuma, a modern day revolutionary, Her father was our president who gave Zimbabweans working permits while we had 30% unemployment rate, her mother was a home affairs minister which opened our borders for all illegal foreigners.
Thuthukile Zuma@Thuthu_Zuma

If we kicked out every foreign national in South Africa we would still be landless whilst the white majority thrive and monopolise our land, natural resources and all sectors of our economy. The problem is poverty, racial inequality and unemployment not foreign nationals.
