Today we are exploring how we can bring Joy to others, we are making posters welcoming a new family to Canada from the Ukraine. Lots of amazing discussions about Hope and Gratitude. We are so blessed! #ocsbjoy @AngelsOCSB

We continue to collaborate and work on communication in 3D as we look at different ways to count objects. We have come very creative thinkers. #ocsbmath @ocsbDL

Today’s inquiry - Can I make a fidget spin without using my hands? Grade 3s are very innovative and have some very creative ways to create movement. One group tried using a fan to make it spin. Another tried their own breath. We love fun filled Fridays. #DLocsb @AngelsOCSB

Lots of creativity, collaboration and critical thinking happening in Grade 3. The inquiry started with the students wondering what is going to happen to the bugs in winter. So they made beds to keep the bugs warm and comfortable. #ocsbdl @AngelsOCSB @guajoyful

Today we looked at what it means to be a good collaborator and a good communicator. The first two of our 6 deep learning competencies. These littles had so much fun working together to build a tower without touching the cups!!! @AngelsOCSB @ocsbDL thanks @MasonsMarvels @MrsRiley

We had such a great experience yesterday when we were given the opportunity to learn about monarch butterflies and then take part in their release. Thank you so much @kelhill!!

Sooo excited to welcome my new little bunnies. Another year of Grade 3 friends to welcome on Tuesday. Somebody pinch me, I really am living my dream. It’s my most favourite time of year.
