So you’re mid sentence and your brain goes “wait, this version is better,” and it instantly switches tracks. But that “better sentence” isn’t fully stored anywhere stable yet, because working memory in ADHD can be more fragile under interruption. When you pause, you interrupt the original sentence and the new one before either is fully encoded. It’s basically: idea A → replaced by idea B → attention shift → buffer clears → both A and B disappear
