I have always felt that, no matter wherever we go abroad, either for career, job or education, the feeling of being a "secondary citizen" is quite strong. I guess, it good for travel, but living abroad is not on my list

I am editor in a journal. The last time a reviewer accepted my invitation to review was June 29. Currently, I have a ms with 22 invitations (I´ve had more), none accepted. Is it just me? Am I the only one reviewing ms for everyone else? (And yes, I came here to complain)

Should PI’s really be judged on years post-PhD? This disadvantages those with different career journeys.
I’m 18m post independence but 12y post PhD viva so I’m ineligible for the majority of Early Career schemes but completely uncompetitive for mid-career schemes.
