This is a heartbreaking development 😔😢😭 What is happening in our beloved Katsina is more than sad. Bandits Demand 700 Cattle, 1,000 Sheep, Give Six-day Ultimatum Bandits wrote a letter to farming communities in Kankia LG & have been thrown into panic & unrest following a six-day ultimatum from bandits demanding 700 cattle and 1,000 sheep. Reports indicate that at least 10 villages have been completely deserted with people relocating to Katsina town, Kano and or Kaduna. 700 cattle and 1,000 sheep burst my brain! 🤯. Sometimes I wonder what these bandits do with all these large numbers of livestock. How do you move 1,700 animals and not be sighted or be slowed down for our military to catch up. My cry is to the govt to please address this thing decisively! We can't have illegals dictating and taxing our hardworking rural communities. This is not good at all. Northern leaders need to address this bandit issue, I feel the Northern leaders are nonchalant about it. Katsina was once a bubbling state with lots of great stuff is now a shadow of itself. It's a big shame!

Impossible. Fashola is not Tinubu's type pf politician. He can't build, control or maintain structure. He is also too blunt. He is also too refined for some of the tradeoffs that come with it. The Nigerian Army categorically states that Mr. Olamilekan was not dismissed for “speaking the truth” or expressing opinions on political leadership. He was dismissed following persistent and grave acts of indiscipline, including violations of the Armed Forces Social Media Policy. Like all professional militaries, the Nigerian Army operates under a strict Code of Conduct and the Armed Forces Act. Unauthorised media appearances, commercialisation of military identity, partisan content creation and misuse of military uniform constitute clear breaches of established regulations. His dismissal followed due process in line with military laws. The assertion that troops operate without protective gear is not only false but also reckless, as it undermines public confidence and troop morale. For the avoidance of doubt, no soldier is deployed to an operational theatre without the necessary protective equipment. Claims that such gear is only issued during ceremonial visits are deliberate falsehoods intended to mislead the public. The Nigerian Army remains committed to the highest standards of discipline, accountability, and troop welfare. Operational decisions regarding postings and deployments are guided strictly by strategic and operational requirements.
