Seems like a good time to run this. Minot had a survey recently on new school name and mascot name. Here are the name choices. Great Northern, North Hill, North Minot, North Prairie, Northern Light...my additions, Souris Valley, Souris Valley North, Roosevelt. Will see your vote.

@ND_ClassB @BLASTTOTHEPAST8 Fargo South is brown and yellow/(gold?). Not used (that I know of) brown/orange navy/orange purple/orange green/orange

@philgaugler @BLASTTOTHEPAST8 There’s plenty to use other than blue or red. Sioux Falls Hefferson went with green and a darker gold. Looks pretty good and different

@zacharydosch @KarterKudrna33 @jdspn_radio Class B & A regions are virtually the same size (11-13+ teams) and the B schools play mostly 2 pt games with a home & home with their rival. Class A could do the same. Fargo schools could do home & home with each other & only play DL, VC, Wahp once. 3 classes does solve this tho

@ND_ClassB @KarterKudrna33 @jdspn_radio One of the benefits of the three tier system is smaller regions so you can still play home and homes and have plenty of room for non conference games. With out the three tier systems it’s almost impossible because the schedules would be imbalanced.

@KarterKudrna33 @jdspn_radio @zacharydosch Class A should goto 2 point games and only play 15-18 conference games and allow for more non-conf, tournaments/shootouts, and even out of state games to get to their 21 regular season games

@jdspn_radio I like the idea of seeing some sort of in-season tournament especially at Class A. Volleyball does it at the start of the year so why can’t basketball do it too over Christmas break? I think it was @zacharydosch who brought it up earlier this year. I would like to see that

2. Rhode Island and Kentucky are the only two states that have a single class state tournament (that I'm currently aware of).
