.@NebraskaEM residents joined Valley Fire, LaVista PD, and the iEXCEL team for a high-intensity outdoor simulation. From amputations and head trauma to water rescues, the scenarios pushed teams to communicate, adapt and act fast. This was hands-on teamwork at its best!

Shout-out to someone(s) that got you here: My husband Jason! He truly kept us afloat on our way to residency. Why UNMC? The people! Dr. Langenfeld said during my interview that UNMC EM has never given up on a resident and that culture is truly felt in the department.
