@ScottGretton Been that rule for a few years. Hence a player can be offside just in the opposition half. Chase the keeper down then the flag goes up (🙄appalling rule) and the free kick is taken from the position the player was in when the flag goes up near the keeper

I guess it’s this, which seems an absolute nonsense to me: the offence is penalised where the player becomes involved in active play, not just where they were standing when the ball was initially played

Those people 😂 Many reasons people have claimed to be the reason… People claim shit football which impacts the atmosphere but the answer to that is players come and go we stay for life. Many don’t want to get involved in the atmosphere and want to be in the SS for the ‘being in there’ at the time. Cheap season tickets? Kids want to be part of the atmosphere so families get season tickets priced the same as the family end? Can’t say boo to a goose due to the army of stewards, security guards and coppers. Strict policy and certain language from supporters being reported. Policed by stewards who don’t give a shit if we, win, lose or draw. Many reasons but when the club is made aware and what could change to help, brushed aside

The away atmosphere has been phenomenal! Preston, Charlton and Bristol away needs replicating at home! For those who did go to these away games bring that Saturday! People moan around where you are in the ground, don’t react you’re doing what the lads need. The ones who don’t want to get involved, don’t moan about the atmosphere being shit if you don’t want to get involved. South stand needs a serious reshuffle because the purpose for it is none existent. Don’t care if the North Stand starts the singing, make it go around the ground!
