Newark Middle School Athletics

Middle school baseball try outs will be on March 1st at the high school Aux gym. The following times will be the try out times for each grade: 7th grade - 12:00 - 1:30 8th grade - 2:00 - 3:30

All Middle school sporting events for today 1/20/26 will be played as scheduled.

The 7th and 8th grade Heritage boys basketball game vs Pickerington Lakeview game for today has been cancelled.

Middle school wrestling duel meet on 1/21/27 is cancelled.

All middle school basketball games are cancelled today, 12/2/25.

Middle school wrestling will start practice on November 3rd at the Roosevelt building from 3:00 - 5:30 Buses from schools: Heritage - Bus 4 Liberty - Bus 28 Wilson - Bus 9 Must have a physical and final forms completed to practice.

All 7th and 8th grade girls interested in trying out for basketball, tryouts will be: Oct 24 - 3-4:45 Oct 25 - 8:30-10am Oct 27 - 3-4:45 A physical and final forms need completed in order to try out. Bus transportation to Liberty from schools: Heritage - Bus 4 Wilson - Bus 9

Newark Middle school 7th grade football game on 9/30 will be played at the New high school turf field instead of Whites field. There will no be no charge for admission and you will need to bring your own chair to sit around the field. It is a 5:30 start.

The middle school soccer game tonight 9/22 verses UA Arlington has been canceled due to weather.

The Wilson middle school volleyball game at New Albany on 10/1/25 has been cancelled. There will not be a map up date for this game.

Wilson at Liberty volleyball, originally scheduled for 9/13/25, has BEEN CHANGED to 9/11/25.

The 8th grade football has added a game on October 15th verses Lancaster Ewing. The game will be played at Whites field with a 5:30 start time.

The Middle school Soccer team will now play Whitehall Rosemore on 9/3/25. All of the other details for this date will stay the same.

The middle school soccer game on 8/25 at Hilliard Heritage has a time change. The game will now start at 6:15 pm
