State Meet 2024 is in the books for the Raiders. Grateful for the opportunity to work with this group this year!

Stephen Feig finishes the season with an All-State, 8th place, finish. He went 13’6” today. Congrats to Stephen!

Boys 4x100 relay of McCoy Weitz, Simon Lippert, Stephen Feig, and Gavin Novotny place 5th in 1AA. They ran a season best time of 43.78 coming up just short of a state bid.

4x800 relay of Fletcher Aylin, Jason Aldorfer, Evan Loe, and Isaac Schlief set a 14 second season best time to earn 3rd place in Section 1AA. Every relay member ran season best splits and left everything on the track. Congrats to Winona and Albert Lea.

Raiders 4x400 relay of Sam Swedin, McCoy Weitz, Gavin Novotny, and Stephen Feig qualify for the state meet after running a huge season best of 3:28.73. They will run in the State prelims next Friday morning! Way to compete Raiders!

🚨 New School Record 🚨 The 4x200 team of Gavin Novotany, McCoy Weitz, Simon Lippert, and Stephen Feig won the 1AA Section Meet and broke a 53 year old school record with a time of 1:28.91! They will run State prelims next Friday morning. Congratulations boys!

Stephen Feig qualifies for the state meet in the pole vault by taking 2nd at the 1AA meet in Faribault. He will look to improve on his 13’3” vault next week.

A strong start to the week for the Raider track team. Boys take 2nd to Mankato West but have many performances to be proud of. 4x2 and 4x4 run their fastest time of the season. Event winners included 4x2, 4x8, Kamarion Gant (high jump and triple jump) and Stephen Feig (PV).

The Raiders came up a few points short of winning their Big 9 triangular tonight in Winona but turned out 41 career best performances. 4x1, 4x8, Kamarion Gant (high jump), Stephen Feig (pole vault), and John New Newberg (discus) were all event winners.

Events winners tonight included Stephen Fieg (pole vault), Gavin Navotony (triple jump & 200), 4x1 relay (Navotony, Fieg, Weitz, Lippert), and Sam Swedin (400m),

Raiders finish in second place tonight in Mankato. It was a beautiful evening for track and field and the performances showed it. Next meet is in Winona on Tuesday!

First meet of the year in the books. 34 career bests from our returners and a ton of exciting performances from our newcomers. Sam Froehle and Kamarion Gant had first place finishes in the Long Jump and High Jump.

Raider sprinters, look at this! So much more than the “run fast, turn left” you often hear from non-track jokesters. Sprinting is a skill. Frontside mechanics are key. This is what “marching without spilling the water” looks like! 🤌

Toby Grawe finishes his throwing career with a 12th place finish in disc at the state meet. Great job captain!
