🚨PRESS CONFERENCE🚨 Greenfield Knights (NC) knocked off the Highland Hawks (VA) 57-54 in a @JohnWallHoliday final 4 overtime thriller. Senior guard Kobe Edwards led all scorers with 28 points but none bigger than a three pointer he had in overtime as the buzzer sounded. Edwards had the same chance at the end of regulation but just couldn’t get the shot to fall as the game went to overtime. Despite battling through adversity after missing two free-throws and a costly turnover late in the overtime period, Edwards was able to persevere through and knock down one of the biggest shots of his career and get his John Wall Holiday Invitational moment. Helping Kobe Edwards was the sophomore duo of Johnny Winborne and Braxton Dubose who scored 14 and 10 points respectively.

Final - BBB Greenfield 68, Caldwell Academy 63 A legendary finish to a legendary game. A legendary player, Kobe Edwards, leads a game-long comeback in the fourth quarter to go out as a state champion. He scores a team-high 21 to hoist the trophy. Greenfield trailed for a stretch of 30:01 before claiming the lead for good.

What an amazing way to finish the season! So proud of my guys! This group never quits and plays together to the buzzer!! We had to battle an entire 32 minutes to beat the defending 2A State Champions. We knew it would not be easy! Unbelievable atmosphere and terrific game!
