- Don't let fear stop your growth - It's great to have mentors, but you need sponsors who can help you navigate your path - have the confidence to go for it, don't hold yourself back. We're not perfect, no one is... we need women to step up and lead

-There's no right or wrong, just a choice - have a board of directors... your people, they will help you sort out your feelings - be intensional, when you rise, don't close the door, keep it open and help others come with you, drag them with you!

-Look up, Look wide... see the bigger picture. - opportunities come when they come, and they may not come again - call out disrespect - the middle is hard, but there's tremendous power there - you can do all of the things, just pace yourself and choose when to do it

So, I think I’ve started to cold email people to tell them I like or appreciate a publication or talk, etc. of theirs that I’ve seen. I’ve had this happen to me a couple of times and it’s been a delightful surprise and often turns into a nice exchange.
