@neutral_af My ire for sporterized stuff starts at metalwork. I've got no complaint to make about a rear sight mounted scope. Especially knowing you swiss are rough on military stocks.

The first guy gets killed but takes 3-4 cops with him, so they only have 16 to send after the next guy. The next guy dies too, but now the kill squad is down to 12 and they just witnessed 8 of their buddies get wasted. The rest quit before the third guy gets his turn. Simple.

@glennimages @Grummz Our opponents are trying to destroy our society and put people like us up against a wall. They intentionally manipulate things such that your own principles stop you from effectively opposing them. I have therefore adopted a communist exception to my principles.

@Grummz Except it’s wrong no matter which team is doing it. The solution is to crush it. Not engage in it.

The solution, if this does not pass, is to take a page from the Dem playbook on their gun control initiatives. You don't pass a voter ID law, you pass smaller laws on everything *around* the issue that are valid on their face and serve the same purpose in aggregate. In CA, instead of banning firearms, they have passed rosters, magazine bans, limits on amount of purchases, sensitive locations, etc. Death by a thousands cuts that amount to the same thing. But in the case of voter ID, it would be a just cause that actually supports the constitution. The exact shape of these laws, I do not know, but the lesson is to legislate everything else and then you effectively get your goal of voter ID.
Savanah Hernandez@Savsays

It’s cannot be understated how unfathomably cooked we are if we can’t even get basic voter ID laws passed in this country.

@Guntalk They aren't going to confiscate. They'll demand you deliver. x.com/i/status/19291…
Nobody important@Not8special

The numbers dont matter because you have an incorrect perception of your current opponent. We are not fighting an individual tyrant anymore, but a generational ideology. They're not gonna knock on your door and seize your guns, because you dont matter. The plan: 1. Mandatory licensing/registration, usually rolled out slowly. They'll make it so you have to be on the registry to buy ammo. Licensing is annoying so the number of gun owners will drop. 1a. Mass propaganda campaign to make guns and gun owners appear to be bad people. (the fewer gun owners the easier this is) 2. With gun ownership uncommon and unpopular the state can act with more impunity, issuing outright bans or just making licensing hard to get/maintain. But they wont kick in your door, they'll send a letter. "Your gun is now illegal, bring it to the police station for a $50 giftcard" If you dont, they still wont raid you, they'll just issue a warrant for your arrest and get you on the way to the grocery store. If you resist effectively and kill a cop thats better propaganda for the theatre kids. 3. 50 years go by, the few people with unregistered guns cant get ammo and they're all waking up to pee 5 times a night. Their kids cant shoot well because dad couldnt get ammo, and when he dies 90% will dutifully turn in all his guns like school and Tv shows say they should. And like that, there is no militia. I love my guns, and they are a marvelous deterrent to immediate tyranny, but they do not themselves prevent tyranny, especially the creeping kind the theatre kids push. But dont lose hope, there are options: 1. Expand gun ownership, promote it any way possible. The more people who know and own guns, the harder it is to demonize and register them. 2. Direct political involvement in general, because you dont have to shoot tyrants if they never attain power. At very least vote carefully in all primaries.

MATH: If there were to be a national gun confiscation effort in the U.S., and they picked up 100 guns a day, it would take 13,698 YEARS to get all the guns in this country. (500,000,000 / 100 / 365.) The next ice age would get here first. ;)

@KraffK59101 When the state directly gives the euthanasia it feels like state sponsored murder. And since it saves the state money on treatment, it has wild conflicts of interest. The American diy method is better.

@RAZ0RFIST The cop already acts as the eyes of the state, tagging him with a camera adds more accountability to state actions. I don't have a problem with surveillance cameras, it's the license plate reading that bothers me.

Body Cams should be as reviled as Photo Radar. Many agree a camera that peeps on you while driving is surveillance state B.S. Yet, for some inarticulable reason, strapping the same camera to an armed agent of the State and uploading the video publicly is... perfectly copacetic?

These memetic artifacts are so important. They reveal a time in our history that was so insane that it never even occured to the original poster, or their hundreds of thousands of like minded supporters, to ask this simple question. Importantly it also reveals that we have reached the boundaries of language. There should be a word for what "Trader Tony" is doing, this intellectual sleight if hand he will never be required or willing to defend. It's not like there isn't a general family to the concept. And at first you might want to say "Well that's just propaganda" but it's more than that. See, defamation can also be used as propaganda and often is. In other words a thing can be two things at once. A defamatory statement can be both defamation AND propaganda. Such as it is here. It's not just that its propaganda but its propaganda and something else. In this case a statement so. impossibly dumb that the only reason it's allowed to exist as a thing is because the position of the speaker does not allow direct challenge. Where if they were ever forced to sit down on camera and explain their statement against even the thinnest scrutiny the entire thing would implode on it's silly face. We need a word for that.

Anyone who thought creating the largest internal security force in the country, answering only to the president, was for anything else hasn’t been paying attention.
Republicans against Trump@RpsAgainstTrump

Steve Bannon: “We can use this, ICE helping at airports, as a test run, a test case, to really perfect ICE’s involvement in the 2026 midterms. Mike Davis: “I think we should have ICE agents at the polling places” Saying the quiet part out loud.

Oh look, false narratives Obama and Biden 'deported' people caught at the border, net migration was still positive. Trump closed the border, net migration is now negative, that's what I'm after. I saw the shootings, I blame the activists who instigated, and the organizers who trained them. I do feel a bit bad for the legal migrants who had to put up with lots of routine IDing of themselves. It's a real shame Dems let the situation get so bad.

Okay, imagine it is a post-apocalyptic situation. One with zombies or some sort of rage virus that affects humans. You CAN get infected/become a zombie/rage monster etc. In this world are you thriving, surviving or dying immediately? (I am dying immediately lmao. No question)
