Tim Sweeney confirmed that Epic Games will resolve insurance issues for Michael Prinke, a recently laid-off Epic Games employee with terminal brain cancer.

@BackersGamesF Epic is in contact with the family and will solve the insurance for them. There is high confidentiality around medical information and it was not a factor in this layoff decision. Sorry to everyone for not recognizing this terribly painful situation and handling it in advance.

One of the people laid off in Tuesday's #Fortnite layoffs, Michael Prinke, is a terminal brain cancer patient.
His wife, Jenni Griffin, expressed in a heartbreaking Facebook post that being laid off from Epic meant that Michael lost his life insurance. His family is now "facing the reality of what type of funeral/burial I can afford. How I will keep a roof over our heads. How I will protect our son and the life we built together."

@AnAverageGamerX Didn't they delay the switch 2 original release. To release it at an higher price point because of tariff than proceed to sue the US government because tariff hurt their console. But Didn't lower the prices of switch 2 or its accessories which had a slight price increase 🙄
