Thank you @FootballFitFed for having me on back on the podcast. When you’re deep in the day-to-day, it’s easy to overlook how much you’re growing and surrounded by great people and experts who push you to be better. I appreciated this time to reflect and see exactly that 🤓

The pre-season work intensifies 🏃‍♀️

TEST > INTERVENTION > RE-TEST. REPEAT. With the first testing completed, the Performance & Medical team have designed individual programmes, having discussed & highlighted their priority work ons. The “interventions” are underway and we’ll re-test again in a few weeks time. 🤓

All in.

WEEK 1 DONE ✅ We ramped up the physical demands whilst gradually building in repetitive and long ball striking, contact and sprinting. The sweaty team off-feet session halfway through the week added a lovely, different stimulus.

WE ARE BACK! Two of my favourite days of the season (testing days) have already come to an end… solid work from the players. Now it’s time to analyse, discuss and collaborate with the performance and medical team, write programmes and push to the next level 💪 COYS.

Today, nearly 6 years after I passed my Viva, I attended my graduation for my PhD. I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who made it happen at the uni, but also to have my family by my side. This one is for old lady Laura to hopefully one day look back on proudly.
