Simple answers are easy to find. They appear as clever shortcuts and, hence, are most appealing.
However, they are usually wrong... Or are they? 🤔
There's no solid way to completely automate most business decisions.
If there was, we'd already have delegated our jobs to ChatGPT and be enjoying quality time with important people in our lives. Why? Because business is complicated, and automation aims for simplicity. Or so they say.
However, we all agree that some level of simplification is acceptable. I want to test the limits of simplification for... pricing.
Since I started working at @aimondo_ , I've received dozens of messages from startup founders asking us to help them with pricing. No, they don't need expensive software, advanced AI-based analytics or even one-one-one consulting.
What they need is simplicity.
They want:
1. us to ask them a bunch of questions,
2. process their answers automatically,
3. and send out general but still personalised recommendations on their pricing strategies.
Think of something like Vibes (the @Tinder quiz)— you answer questions like "Would you rather always be 10 minutes late or 20 minutes early?” or “Do you prefer podcasts or playlists?” — and get matched with someone who's more likely to be attracted to a profile built automatically based on your answers.
That's exactly what I'm planning to do within the next 2 months. I'm planning to take all out internal experts and consultants, and make them help me devise this quiz.
Something simple ( and completely free!) to help founders get actionable tips on pricing strategies they can use after spending 10 minutes answering well-thought questions.
What do you think?
