My Trading Model – “Fortune” This is how I approach the market every trading day on NQ. My model is time-based . Key time include: •Midnight Open (00:00) •Opening Bell (09:30) •Opening Range (09:30 – 10:00) •Silver Bullet Window (10:00 – 11:00) •Macro Each trading day is approached with consideration of the economic calendar, allowing me to identify which time windows offer the most favorable conditions for execution Core Bias Framework The two most critical time references in my model are the Midnight Open and the Opening Bell. •If I have a bullish bias, I want to see price trading below the Midnight Open leading into the Opening Bell. •This sets the stage for a manipulation move at 09:30, often referred to as the Judas Swing – a deceptive move that leads traders in the wrong direction (usually lower in a bullish day). Once that manipulation phase is complete and price shows a clear willingness to move in alignment with my bias, I look to enter in the direction of the intended move — targeting key liquidity levels such as: •Old highs •Previous day’s high/low •Imbalances •REHs (Relative Equal Highs) The same logic applies in bearish scenarios , just inverted. Execution Filters I avoid trading within the Opening Range (09:30 – 10:00) if there’s a high-impact news event scheduled during that time. The volatility and unpredictability can distort price behavior, often serving as manipulation. Instead, I shift focus to the Silver Bullet window (10:00 – 11:00 EST) — a time when the market often delivers a cleaner and more defined setup aligned with the day’s narrative. In summary, my edge lies in timing, narrative alignment, and execution discipline. I allow the market to show its hand first , then I strike.
