The early bird for the ball was literally 7,500 from February to April. That is Affordable
But folx it is not possible to expect the same pricing 3 weeks to the Ball for an event that runs into millions to produce, with crazy logistics.

Takes like this are more dissociative than supportive of local organizers, a lot of who dedicate themselves to creating these queer spaces, if you are really concerned about the affordability, talk about subsidizing, talk about fundraising for the events, talk about supporting.

I think someone perfectly captured my thoughts about these raves. They’re happy to use queer people and queer culture for marketing, aesthetics, and relevance, but the support mostly ends where their branding benefits do.
