This is what the reality is, contrary to the blazing headlines many Indian big media outlets run to mislead the public.

Incredible photo of the Lebanese journalist, Ali Shoeib, reporting in front of illegal invaders. Shoeib was murdered by Israel today in a targeted assassination.

🚨🇦🇲 ARMENIA'S OPPOSITION LEADER IS WINNING IN THE POLLS. HE EXPECTS TO BE ARRESTED ANYWAY. Narek Karapetyan says the PM can jail him, jail his entire party, but the people have already made their choice. They want new leadership. Peace. Prosperity. Now the PM has two options: crush the opposition and rule by force, or allow a peaceful transfer of power. Narek believes he’ll try the first. But in the end, he’ll be forced into the second.

🚨🇦🇲🇮🇷 THE COUNTRY MOST LIKELY TO BE SWALLOWED BY THE IRAN WAR IS ONE NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT... Armenia is right on Iran's border. So is Azerbaijan. So is Turkey. And Russia is just north. If this war destabilizes Iran, the South Caucasus becomes the next crisis zone overnight. Narek Karapetyan is the Armenian opposition leader (also ahead in the polls) who says what most diplomats won't. Iran falling apart wouldn't look like Iraq. It would be four times worse. More ethnic minorities, more separatist movements, more refugees, and a shattered supply chain stretching from Central Asia to Europe. Trump quietly brokered a trade corridor through Armenia that bypasses Iran entirely. A deal that made little sense six months ago now looks like it was designed for exactly this moment. And in the middle of all this, Armenia's own PM is jailing opposition leaders and attacking the church while drug crime climbs five times over. Narek expects to be arrested within a month. The most strategically important country you're not paying attention to is the one sitting right on the edge of the blast zone. Goes in uniform to swamijis who want PoK as “dakshina”. Replaces legendary 1971 victory pic in his office with a pedestrian caricature of medieval folklore. When trolled for repeated indiscretions, visits temple in civvies & drags in an entire secular force. How low is too low?

#WATCH | Odisha: Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi says, "I am very grateful to have visited Puri today to receive the Lord's blessings. My main aim was to seek divine grace for the entire Indian Army squad and their families. Having offered my prayers, I am confident that the Army will continue to excel and reach new heights in the days ahead. I want to thank the city for its warm welcome; it is a matter of great pride for the country, and I felt a sense of deep peace and sanctity here. I hope to return every year to offer my respects at God's feet."

Ukrainians, Americans, Russians, Slovaks, British nationals, and Kurds have all been arrested in the past for attempting to enter Myanmar illegally from India. It shows how effectively China has shaped the situation in Myanmar, creating conditions where, in practice, almost no one except the Chinese can enter the country through legal channels . Ironically, China is one of the largest suppliers of arms/drugs to both Myanmar’s rebel groups and the Myanmar military at the same time. #myanmar #india

It’s getting overlooked w/everything else going on, but keep an eye on Nepal. A new govt led by a 35-year-old former rapper took office yesterday. And one of its first moves, led by the home minister, a 38-year-old former DJ, was to arrest the PM ousted in last year’s protests.

“Young Italians don’t want to do this work,” Mr Picotti said. “They’re too mollycoddled. They stay at home until they are in their thirties, having their meals cooked and their laundry done for them. “The Indians, by contrast, are serious people. They work hard, they are diligent, they are respectful. If you ask them to turn up for work at 6am, they turn up at 6am on the dot – not 6.30am. They never get angry with the animals. They always stay calm – that’s important for milk-producing cows.” telegraph.co.uk/world-news/202…

How could he have thought that after all that servility, he would end up having to kiss a filthy part of Trump’s body?

This attack will have a huge emotional impact on Iranians. It will stiffen their resolve to resist. What clearer proof that this is a war on the country and on its people than attacking universities and schools, the human capital infrastructure.

Soon after MBS bowed to U.S. pressure and opened his country's King Fahd Airbase for strikes on Iran, Tehran retaliated, hitting the base with missiles, wounding U.S. personnel and damaging multiple American aircraft, including an E-3 Sentry AWACS plane. x.com/tparsi/status/…

Trump: "He [Saudi Arabia's MBS] didn't think he'd be kissing my ass... But now he has to be nice to me. You tell him he'd better be nice to me." This is the choice the GCC will face after this war. If it moves toward deeper dependence on the US to balance Iran, they will become spineless vassals similar to Europe, who have to "kiss Trump's ass..."

@randomvichar That’s because Indians often come across as pleading for validation rather than simply stating the PoV and letting capability speak for itself. The fact that the GoI sent out an “international delegation” during Sindoor was embarrassing.

People in a village in Manipur had to walk sometimes up to 2 days to reach a hospital. Villagers requested a road many times, but the government had ignored the demand for over 30 years. Then a newly appointed IAS officer, Armstrong Pame, promised to help and build a road. He asked the government for funds → No response. Instead of waiting on hope, he created a Facebook campaign and raised ~₹40 lakh through crowdfunding. Donations came from contributors across ~25 countries. He himself contributed ₹5 lakh from his own savings. He and the villagers themselves built a 100 km road in ~210 days. The road is named “People’s Road”. The government has crores for freebies, but no money for remote villages, because it is never urgent for them.
