@shodantrio @Killbot_exe @kunii_tv I’m not trying to be a jackass I’m actually unsure. Putting tombstone far enough away from enemies and around a corner isn’t something I find super deep and confusing to understand.

@shodantrio @Killbot_exe @kunii_tv Mina is probably the most extreme example of a character with a broken escape tool. What do we mean by “her positioning is hard”.? I think almost every character doesn’t stand on the front line or in vulnerable positions unless fed regardless of your movement tools.

graves is the most braindead character in deadlock atm: -auto aim on m1 and can still build gun XD? -summons require no interactions with them other than place them and let the AI do its job for you -you can legitimately go 0-10 with this character and stil be a threat

@Killbot_exe @kunii_tv She’s a character that only really requires critical thinking on two of her four abilities. But even then after placing your jar of dead it just hits what you’re aiming at and it’s kind of clunky. You just place ult behind your team/a corner away from your enemies.

@Killbot_exe @kunii_tv I don’t agree with everything op says but the fact you’re saying “positioning and itemization” is the hard part of her is a problem. That’s a minimum requirement for a character in Deadlock. Characters with low skill floors and ceilings are always boring over time.

@October_DL @BoldfaceJames You can absolutely mix that combo up, I use parry to engage all the time, it's a massive gap closer. Starting a fight with a multihit sigil is good too, aoe slow.

They should probably make Apollo riposte like it is in league of legends where you have to parry a cc ability to get the stun because this shit is obnoxious

@DeadlockAnon Also playing in stacks with a rank disparity makes you lose more than you gain. Archon and have a friend who’s Emissary 1 and when we play we get mid emissary lobbies that drop my elo (understandably) when we lose but never climb when we win.

I have no idea how my friends are 1-2 ranks higher than me when we always stack together every session.

@GameSux_ @IntelDeadlock In a game that’s invite only alpha, I’m sort of of the mindset that something is only bannable of someone finds a way to do it after the devs make a decision on it (removing it/saying something about it). Because for now the whole game is kinda experimental. Just remove it asap

@iBaiyea @IntelDeadlock I might be overreacting because we have seen in this very instance somebody using this to “troll”. If I get on with my 3 stack and line up 3 snipes to win midboss or clear the enemy base in a team fight it’s not trolling then. The bigger issue is is it even fixable?

@October_DL @IntelDeadlock You are overreacting, u can only pause 3 times for each te in a game, it more for trolling, no actual benefit doing this

@Rueian @IntelDeadlock This was what I was afraid of. Making Vindicta exit out of snipe during a pause is just gonna make the enemy team do it to troll me. So I dunno.

@October_DL @IntelDeadlock There really isn't a way to patch this, doing so would likely create the reverse issue where you can pause defensively

@RIPP_BOZ0 @IntelDeadlock I don’t really know how they balance DOTA because Deadlock is my first MOBA I’ve ever had a sliver of interest in. I’m sure there’s a relatively simple fix to get rid of this specific exploit. You do make a fair point though

@October_DL @IntelDeadlock Well in any case, knowing Valve and how they balance their other MOBA, DOTA, they don't see tactical pauses as a large enough issue to do anything about so🤷‍♂️

@RIPP_BOZ0 @IntelDeadlock Yeah man one crucial snipe can’t win a game for you? I’ve had many games won and lost on the fact that I hit or missed one when it matters. Someone could also in theory line these up on other people’s pauses too and it goes from 1 to 2-4.

@October_DL @IntelDeadlock you get one pause per game as a player, these games last 30-120 minutes. Its not a huge issue

“Lack of old Pokemon” Arceus forbid that you try something new in a roster of over a thousand Pokemon (649 at the time)

@sorocore New Wraith ult displacement is actually way cooler than what it was but the fact that it disables your ability to counterplay at all because its point and click has made her the most low skill 1v1 character in the game (I guess except Mo and Krill).
