@Ojodui Most of the people making a case for it aren't exactly saying what you are saying. They are viewing it from a different context. And from that context, we also still thank God for the gift of access.

God said you should come boldly, Pastor say thank me for access. Well, someone once said God thanked him for accepting the call to ministry. It's just like God saying "thank you for access, sir"

I still maintain that the person occupying the office of the Pastor/Apostle/Evangelist/Teacher is not the gift, the office is the gift.

@Ojodui By manufactured dislike, I mean a good number of the people I have seen haven’t even been able to point out the errors on their own accord. My problem is how performative pointing them out can be.

I must say it in the open. I fear our manufactured dislike for certain translations of scripture is sometimes virtue signaling. Just read the ones that you consider valid and do it quietly. Let us rest please, some people even went ahead to do skits. Even if those writers were wrong, we mustn’t be people who make our own people grovel for our acceptance if they have to keep paying for their sins eternally. Jesus doesn't do that to us.
