It’s been over nine months since I’ve given a proper update on the state of things with Optional. Various things have changed over the months and I’ve officially decided that I will not continue working on Optional anymore.

In the long run, we would like to decentralize Optional, but since we're still small and growing the community, we do not believe there's a strong push to currently fully decentralize.

Holy shit, @OptionalFinance's Gitcoin grant has potentially received the maximum QF amount from the main pool ($7,124) That's about more than 3.6x of GR11's contributions + QF matching! I'm so grateful for the community from Optional and Gitcoin 💜

It’s Day 5 of Gitcoin’s GR12 and we’ve raised more than $1K with an additional estimated $4.7K in QF matching! For reference, GR11 raised us almost $2K with QF! Holy smokes, thank you to everyone who’s contributed!
