@bertmackay1 @SpeyBayGC Wow Bert, looks like you got more snow than us here in Ottawa. Will be heading to your neck of the woods May 12th-16th, staying in Cullen. Wife and I doing a trip to Ireland and Scotland for three weeks, celebrating our 25th.

Unfortunately due to snow and -8 temps the course @SpeyBayGC is closed so pheasant patrol 🐾🐾 went for a long walk instead and explored the area and it was beautiful out there just a bit 🥶❄️

So, recently I experienced the misfortune of being let go. Humbling experience to say the least. But I can say I’ve bounced back and I have accepted the golf course superintendent job at Black Diamond Ranch Club on The Ranch course. New beginnings🎉

Of course the star of the show is the 6th, an epic (if short) par 3 over a rocky outcropping to a green perched 140 yards away. Worth the price of admission, though I liked a couple of other holes a lot as well (#2, #5, #7)

Last night I played Cruit Island, the cult classic about an hour from @Rosapenna1893. Quirky and sometimes even weird, but delightful in spots once you get used to the blind tee shots (#1, #3, #4, #5).

#Karma Last July I ‘won’ the opportunity for @taylorswift #wembley tickets. All I could get were 2 tickets (Its Been A Long Time Coming…don’t ask). 12 hours later with a glass of wine in hand I wanted to see if my code still worked because I wanted to see Wembley SOLD OUT… There were still tickets remaining. So I told myself if there were two tickets together…I’d get them. There were. And they were right beside the 2 seats I bought 12 hours earlier. Karma. So they became an 18th Birthday surprise for my daughters… Showtime ❤️❤️❤️❤️
