NexGen Pastor Chris Willhite at CV Church has announced they will distribute free grab-and-go meals Thursday, April 9, to any family with young people ages 18 and younger that needs food support at The Venue, 107 E. Princeton Dr.

PHS wants to hold graduation as scheduled, which is 7 p.m. May 28 at Allen Event Center. However, with the pandemic, decisions are not in the district's control. If changes are needed, PISD will communicate plans as soon as there is enough information to make a decision.

The Princeton ISD community must work together to fight COVID-19. Head to tea.texas.gov/staywell for important public health guidance to stop the spread. If we stand apart as a community now, we will be together again soon.

School districts, for the most part, let’s remember that this isn’t homeschooling, or online school, this is making the best of a bad situation in the middle of a crisis. That should be what drives decisions.

All schools will begin distributing daily meals Monday, except PHS and Southard, whose students can pick up meals at Clark and Smith. Weekly boxed meals available at PHS.
