@team980 @P_ConnerJr Generational is a word that doesn’t actually mean anything. What he is likely wrong about is how good Love is. Every draft expert has him as pretty clearly the best player in the draft. Why take a gamble on a WR if you can get a sure thing at RB?

I was sent into the wtf? when Scott Weiland died. I was there when STP first came out and everybody talked shit about them. Calling them wannabe Pearl Jam etc.. whatever! I remember seeing STP at Cal Expo as an underdog with Big head Todd. Yea whatever but I remember STP. The bottom line was STP was a great band. In fact any band that Scott was in was great. I'll tell you why. Scott was a great front man. Velvet Revolver sounded great because of Scott. He gave that weird vibe. That vibe nobody gave but him could give. That's a fucking fact. Mix that with sugar, salt, acid, umami, and carbonation and you've accidentally triggered every major reward pathway in the human taste system simultaneously. Georgia farmers in the 1920s did this because they needed one hand free while working. They stumbled into the optimal salt-acid-umami-fat-carbonation loop a century before food science could explain why it worked.

Some OSCAR thoughts... 🏆 One Battle After Another was my favorite of the nominated movies. Glad it won. 🏆 Sinners was very good and deserving but I liked One Battle more. Pumped for my guy Michael B. Jordan. Been rocking with him since he was on the Kekambas. Real one's know. 🏆 F1 was also fantastic but was never going to win Best Picture. 🏆 I thought Train Dreams was a snooze fest. Emotional and had some moments but just too slow. 🏆 Marty Supreme was fine but I'm coming to the realization that I'm just not a Safdie guy. I don't like the tenseness he creates with how he shoots. Also the music was way too loud and I find it annoying not an artistic aid. 🏆 How did Nuremberg get completely shut out? Was it released too late or something? 🏆I really liked Is This Thing On? Probably should've been mentioned at some point tonight. 🏆 Rose Byrne was incredible in If I Had Legs I'd Kick You. That movie stuck with me for way too long mostly because of how good she was.
