My moms and friend neighbor who is grandma of 60+ is constantly bribed by Labor Party under Peter Obi and now she has moved to ADC because the goal is to keep being paid to support Peter Obi. The last rally they did at Tafabalewa and she came back saying soldiers harassed them and that they said they credit her. The National Vice Chairman (South-West) of the Labour Party, Abayomi Arabambi, has hinted that Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, and the party’s National Chairman, Julius Abure, have agreed to work for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Arabambi made the claim during a press briefing in Abuja, where he also accused former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of making contingency plans to return to the party through Nenadi Usman if he fails to secure the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). According to Arabambi, the alleged understanding between Otti and Abure is at the root of the internal divisions currently rocking the party. He claimed that certain actors within the party were pursuing interests contrary to the Labour Party’s stated objectives, insisting that members were not unaware of the developments. The party chieftain also criticised what he described as inconsistent political positioning by some leaders, warning that such actions could undermine the party’s credibility ahead of the 2027 general elections. At the briefing, the Labour Party leadership further took a swipe at Toyin Babalola, rejecting her involvement in any official role in Osun State or elsewhere. The party described her reappointment as a Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), after previously retiring as a director, as a “scandal” that warrants independent investigation. It questioned the process leading to her reappointment, asking who facilitated her return and who approved her nomination, and called for transparency in the matter. Arabambi maintained that the party would resist any attempt to impose decisions or individuals that could further deepen internal divisions.
