Real Madrid's contract offer to Ibrahima Konate has been revealed by Spanish outlet El Desmarque. He will be making £400k per week over the course of a four-year deal. Los Blancos will be also giving him a £17m signing-on fee. That equates to around £83 MILLION in wages and with his welcome bonus factored in the 27-year-old will be making over £100m during his spell at the Bernabeu. Should Liverpool have matched this offer?

Liverpool are prepared to pay big wages but have remained disciplined in talks with Konate in order to retain squad equilibrium. There are high hopes for Jeremy Jacquet and Giovanni Leoni heading into next season.
