🚨 Marco Palestra to Newcastle not expected to happen despite interest and availability to pay what Atalanta requested.
The player has not opened doors to the move while Inter remain in talks for €45m package, still not enough for Atalanta.

@Tylershilton92 @AnfieldWatch Looking at this
Is he as good as a VVD? No
Is he as good as Saliba? No
As good as Bastoni? No
Is he the best in the world at any single one of his best attributes? No
Again, my guy, and his agent, hit the lotto

Real Madrid's contract offer to Ibrahima Konate has been revealed by Spanish outlet El Desmarque. He will be making £400k per week over the course of a four-year deal. Los Blancos will be also giving him a £17m signing-on fee. That equates to around £83 MILLION in wages and with his welcome bonus factored in the 27-year-old will be making over £100m during his spell at the Bernabeu. Should Liverpool have matched this offer?

@NUFCMurph Elliot Anderson’s had to leave to get minutes just because our midfield is solid. Miley will prob get more mins as RB next season

@Tylershilton92 @JacobsBen ‘Big wages’…. ‘Squad equilibrium’
So they pay well, but don’t rate him as high as others, and it upsets the apple cart if they do

🚨 More on Ibrahima Konate’s Liverpool exit.
French defender will leave when his contract expires. Viewed by sources as a disappointing outcome, and one Liverpool tried to avert.
There was a significant gulf between club and player over terms.
Negotiations began in November 2023 and have continued since, but an agreement has proven elusive.
Liverpool are prepared to pay big wages but have remained disciplined in talks with Konate in order to retain squad equilibrium.
There are high hopes for Jeremy Jacquet and Giovanni Leoni heading into next season.
Liverpool have chosen not to proceed with what is seen as an expensive renewal and will instead put that resource into replacing Mo Salah, and into strengthening other key areas this summer.🔴

@CraigIrvine93 Faceless is a bit harsh. I think he’s been a fantastic servant, and he’s too often judged on just g/a. Rarely injured, ran his arse off.
We don’t demand a team that wins and all that
Now if/when Bruno leaves I’ll probably cry 😂

Anthony Gordon is one of those players that comes and goes from a club and leaves no legacy or personality behind. Buying him isn't an amazing thing and selling him isn't an amazing thing. He's just a generic faceless player imo. Sometimes great, sometimes shit. #NUFC

Man Utd attracted Śeśko, Mbuemo Lammens and Cunha last summer after finishing 15th with no Europe. Can #NUFC get 3 or 4 high class signings in this summer and make a push a for the champions league. Who’d make the difference to us?

Everton getting £45m for a mid-table championship level player is one of the best bits of business I’ve ever seen

"You can bloody well guarantee, when we knock on the door, the price is going to be AT LEAST £90 million!" 💰
How much do you think Newcastle would sell Sandro Tonali for? 👇 #mufc
English

@UnitedStandMUFC Damn right!
Remember Jesse Lingard and the 10m you wanted for a 6 month load?
Fucking charlatans..

@DeadlineDayLive @alex_crook I highly doubt he leaves this summer. If anyone does itl be Livramento

🚨 Lewis Hall is open to leaving Newcastle this summer amid growing interest in his situation.
Manchester United are one of the clubs in the market for a new left-back, with Jason Wilcox understood to be a huge fan of the Newcastle and England defender.

@Kevsafc22 Talent is obvious but his dominance isn’t. He’s more coach’s favourite than elite midfielder. Intelligent, technically excellent, and pleasing to watch, in a better side he would look better, but would he get IN a better side
Gets in 11 sides for me, 4 maybes depending on squad
