@JoRy_MaMa @travisWSN You nailed it when you mentioned damage. Football fields main use is for football so other groups are limited on use because it needs to be in prime condition for game day if you go to turf it can be used every day all day.

River Valley is the latest school to explore installing a turf field. Would cost $900k to fix drainage issues on existing grass & redo track. $1.5 mil to do turf & redo track, so district pursuing that option. Would go from 50 events/year on field to 250 events.
