@imhere_asia Never thought I would ever combine those words too! I guess it is something in my OS that is messing things up. Thanks for the great plugin!

@Patrick_WL "Loaded QGIS in Steam" is the first time I've ever heard those words put together :) I've been able to do some quick testing on a Windows 11 laptop. Things worked, except for the status bar gamepad icon (which will be fixed).

Taking a minute to highlight a brand new #QGIS plugin: Gamepad Navigation. The plugin allows gamepad controllers - Playstation, Xbox, etc. - to navigate 2D and 3D map canvases. This screencast demonstrates navigation of a simple 3D scene (QGIS 3.30 or above required).

@imhere_asia Didn't get it to work 'the normal way'. Loaded QGIS in Steam (as a game) and the controller works!

@imhere_asia Reinstalled QGIS, reinstalled the plugin, reinstalled the plugin from zip. Nothing seems to work.

@imhere_asia @klaskarlsson I'll check for the gt qml package, that would probably be the problem. Thanks! I'll let you know if it works.

@klaskarlsson @Patrick_WL Are you using the QGIS standalone installer or osgeo4w network installation? If it's the latter you might need to manually install the qt qml package. I'll try to get my hands on a windows machine in the coming week and test.

@klaskarlsson @imhere_asia Did you get it to work? Don't really care for the icon, but the function is pretty neat during a presentation.

@Patrick_WL @imhere_asia Aaah. Found it in the GUI, but for me it's gray and not black, so the same color as the rest of the window frame.

@klaskarlsson Very interesting! I've tried to make one myself of the city of Amsterdam. How do you place the labels? I guess they are on the 2D plane, where the leader makes it appear 3D and not possible as a 3D label?

@KowiNL Hi Willem! Het spamfilter blokkeert de meeste spamberichten, maar het kan zo nu en dan een keer voorkomen dat er toch een bericht doorheen glipt. Mocht dit vaker voorkomen, dan horen we het graag en zoeken we het verder voor je uit! ^AV
