From printing pages at home and sticking them together… to holding a finished book in my hands… Today I received my very first trade order from Gardners for The Adventures of Perry the Peruvian Tree Frog. It’s a small order, and a huge milestone. 😊🙏 Thank you to you all of your support along this journey. It really means very much, particularly with challenging circumstances along the way 🙏

The power of belief is a remarkable thing. We don’t just experience reality, we interpret it. Through our beliefs, we can convince ourselves of many things, often without even realising it. A coincidence here, a passing comment there… and suddenly a narrative begins to form. Over time, confirmation bias can quietly reinforce that story until it feels like truth. We all do this to some degree. It’s part of being human. But beliefs aren’t fixed. They can be questioned, expanded, and reshaped. Not by ignoring what we feel or experience, but by becoming more aware of how we’re interpreting it. Sometimes people reach their capacity in situations at different times. That doesn’t make anyone right or wrong, it simply reflects where they are on their own path. Growth isn’t just about what happens to us, but how we choose to understand it.

March carries the weight of trauma I don’t have words for. I often smoke to numb the pain but this year, I’ve taken the road less travelled and got through the whole month without a single cig. Some nights I cried til I couldn’t breathe. But I’m here. The only way out is through.

My dear Orion going to sleep as a seven year old and leaving for school aged eight, all grown up! He just lost his first tooth this last week too. It’s been the best year with him, so excited for what the next one will bring. Now if you’ll excuse me, i have a cake to bake ♥️🎂

My book has passed the required checks for stocking in Waterstones, now it just needs interest & traction, so they will stock it, and this is where I need your help 🙏 Please can you visit your local waterstones and request a copy of my book through them, or ask for it's availability. This will tell them there is interest and will allow many more eyes to see it. Being an independent author and publisher means I am learning so much on the go, and I am immensely grateful 😊🙏

Fathers don’t post 50 selfies with their kids every week. They just quietly renew the car insurance at 2 a.m. Skip their own doctor’s appointment so the school fees can be cleared, and still say I’m fine when you ask how work was. That’s the love no one talks about.
