@hajarkagalwa Every World Cup reminds us of what we are missing…Not because India deserves to be there but because a country of 1.48 billion should at least have a realistic pathway to be there. Hopefully one day we will hear the national anthem at a FIFA World Cup. 🇮🇳❤️

It's kind of sad to see that countries whose names I've never even heard of are playing in the FIFA World Cup but my country, India isn't there. I hope that one day India will play in the FIFA World Cup and we'll all be cheering and shouting, 'India! India!' when they play 🇮🇳

FIFA WCs are only won by European & South American teams. So, why do they call it a world cup? Why not call it a European-American Cup instead? Other nations are just there for sake of participation but we all know at very start of tournament that only 2 continents has chance!

FIFA could easily bend the rules and put Argentina and Portugal in the same group, but it chooses to follow its own regulations. On the other hand, the ICC puts India and Pakistan in the same group almost every time to maximize viewership, even if it comes at the cost of the quality of the tournament. This is one of the reasons why cricket is still far behind football.

@HaramiParindey Honestly, I didn’t face any major issues either…People mock paid streaming but then keep jumping from one pirate link to another when streams die mid-match…only fair criticism right now is no 4K. Everything else feels a bit exaggerated.

This might be one of the worst sports comparisons I have seen. Football’s global reach is measured by participation, viewership and fanbase, not by adding the populations of countries that qualified. A statistic can be technically correct and still be intellectually useless.

@IndiaSportsTV Do you have an official source for this? ZEE5 already offers 4K Ultra HD on premium plans. I haven’t seen any official statement from ZEE5, FIFA or Unite8 saying World Cup matches will be capped at 1080p..Until then, this looks more like speculation than fact.
