What is well known is that the qunut that is present in the army is stricter and greater than the qunüt which is present in the standing of şalāt.

"So, we were ordered to remain quiet, and we were forbidden from speaking." So, the likes of this standing in this way, if it was diverted to other than Allah then it is shirk. Whether it was to a human being, or rock, or tree, or anything else.
