@MeltdownRocks It's close. But a few things: 1. The future is brighter. 2. Free agency is impossible in the current NHL, we can't pick/make players come here. 3. Trades are fine, but if our 4th line isn't good the team won't be good. Without TOP end talent, you have to be good L1 thru L4.

@bduttz @JCSportsDetroit I mean you realize what you're saying, right? The lions: a team with 1 playoff win in 60+ years. Rebuilding since 1957? The tigers hadn't been to the playoffs since 2014. The pistons hadn't won a playoff game since 2008.

@JCSportsDetroit lol 7-10 years for a rebuild? That’s a lie in any sport. If things are done correctly, rebuilds literally take 3-4. Lions, Pistons and Tigers have gotten back to relevancy and the playoffs before the wings could and they started first!
