Alfred Maass (Carmel 2027) hit this unbelievable home run 509 feet at VMI on Sunday July 27th.

Alfred Maass (Carmel 2027). I have no words. The scoreboard showed exit velocity all weekend. Apparently it was not calibrated for baseballs that were still ascending at the fence as this baseball went over the scoreboard, over the rock wall, and over the road above. @VMIbaseco

Maddux Rothell (Courtland) reminds us of a young Sean Casey with his ability to consistently hit doubles in the power alleys. This line drive two hopped the right center field wall to extend his club record for doubles in a season.

AJ Misencik (St. Michaels) took the baseball and led the team to another win to complete the weekend sweep. AJ has been a leader that we can rely on all summer and he continued to retire batters quickly including this strikeout looking to end the 1st.

Jerome Hill (Carmel) had an outstanding relief appearance at VMI on Sunday. 2 innings of scoreless baseball and this strikeout looking to get the first out of the inning.

The showcase team completed the sweep at UVA/VMI and it ended with an incredible walk off grand slam at VMI!

Camden Crabtree (Courtland) completed his no hit start with a sword. Camden set the tone and led the team to a 7-0 win on Saturday at UVA.

Jeron Morris (Caroline) shows off his speed with an inside the park home run on Saturday at UVA. He usually hits his home runs over the fence but this one was just as exciting.

Maddux Rothell (Courtland) shows his quickness and acceleration to steal another bag at UVA.

Jaxon Beasley (Carmel) rips another bag with a head first slide at UVA.

Justin Swanner (Massaponax) came through in a big spot with a solid RBI single up the middle at UVA.

Sometimes it is hard to believe how skilled Elijah Shannon (Carmel) is as a hitter. Lefties, velocity, breaking pitches, it just doesn't matter. He stays on the barrel with line drives all over the field.

Ivan Scott (Massaponax) extends his hitting streak with another knock to left field at UVA.

Maddux Rothell (Courtland) spins the curveball for a strikeout to complete his scoreless relief appearance.

Jake Herbst (Spotsylvania) was untouchable in his relief outing. Here is one of his strikeouts at UVA.

Camden Crabtree (Courtland) paints the fastball for another strikeout to end the 2nd inning.

Elijah Shannon (Carmel) stays red hot with another extra base hit that short hopped the right field wall.

Alfred Maass (Carmel) slams this tough low and inside pitch off the left field wall for a double. He just missed his 3rd home run in 3 straight games.

Reid Markham (Class of 2033) either claps for Elijah's double or for himself after having to run nearly 50 yards to retrieve Elijah's bat. Reid was voted MVBB (most valuable bat boy) at the UVA/VMI tournament so he could be clapping for himself.

Camden Crabtree (Courtland) picked up his teammates after an error in the field during the top of the first. He stranded the base runner and struck out the opposing cleanup hitter on a nasty slider to end the inning.
