Ken Martin’s tenure is over, whether he realizes it or not. He might be the last person to accept this, but it’s true. What matters now is whether he clings to power for his own vanity, or steps down and facilitates a process for our party to choose a better leader.

In June 1940 Elbert Williams, NAACP Secretary was abducted from his home and lynched after he and other NAACP members held a voter's rights drive. Brownsville, Tennessee was over 70% Black in 1940. Bottoms is the anchor with Black voters. Ossoff is the anchor with moderates and suburban voters. It effectively repeats the Ossoff-Warnock 2020 pitch. They understand that together its a winning Dem coalition but the media only sees Ossoff's constituency as valuable.
