Do you know that the probability of two C-130 aircraft becoming unusable is one in a million? These planes were designed to land and take off even in muddy terrain. Iran shot them down, and then also brought down the helicopter. The U.S. retrieved its wounded or dead pilot, but how many Delta soldiers’ bodies did they take with them? We will never know.
